The 2-chamber polyp trap is designed for effective polyp and tissue retrieval during gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures. Suitable for use with all endoscope types, it features two perforated drawers to support visual inspection and accurate specimen collection.
We offer two variations of the 2-chamber polyp trap.
The standard Tomasz Polyp Trap includes white trays and comes complete with a polyp pick for hands-free specimen transfer, helping to minimise handling and reduce contamination risk.
The newer Fast Access Polyp Trap, exclusive to Omnimed within the UK, features an innovative tray design with quick drawer access. Its trays with transparent lids allow clear visual verification of polyp specimens, making identification simple and efficient. Also, this newer product polyp trap incorporates packaging with environmental considerations in mind. It is packaged in PLA, a starch based bioplastic derived from renewable resources which has undergone biodegradability testing. Labels are also printed using soya based inks rather than heavy metal-based alternatives.
Both options provide a popular, practical, two-part solution that supports efficient and hygienic retrieval in high-volume endoscopy settings.
