About Haemoclips
What are haemoclips?
Haemoclips areused for the purpose of ligating blood vessels to reduce blood loss.
How long to haemoclips stay in?
Haemoclips usually remain in place for a few weeks, after which they will generally pass in a patient's stool. They will be very small so patient's are unlikely to notice them when passed.
Are haemoclips MRI conditional?
Yes, this product is MRI conditional.
Do haemoclips eventuallly need to be removed from a patient?
No - they usually only remain in place for a few weeks before being passed in a patient's stool.
