Our sterile, single-use haemoclips are used to prevent bleeding in the GI tract during colonoscopy. This is usually after a polyp(s) has been removed from the colon or to treat a bleeding ulcer. Haemoclips are used to approximate two sides of a blood vessel to immediately, and securely occlude and arrest bleeding. Disposable haemoclips can be placed in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract for:

  1. Endoscopic marking
  2. Hemostasis for:
    1. Mucosal/sub-mucosal defects < 3 cm
    2. Bleeding ulcers
    3. Arteries < 2 mm
    4. Polyps < 1.5 cm in diameter
    5. Diverticula in the colon

These haemoclips benefit from the ability to rotate 360° in different directions. They have a short tail for safer and easier release. Their large opening design meets clinical treatment needs.

Please note that this product is MRI conditional.
