Good Work Deserves to be Noticed

This is your chance to celebrate someone who cares, takes action and inspires others to make endoscopy more sustainable. Small, thoughtful changes can make a real difference. Our 2025 winner, Kayleigh Orr, Housekeeper at St Helen’s Hospital Endoscopy Unit, was recognised for improving stock management, reducing waste and helping to minimise unnecessary deliveries.

Who Gets Your Vote?

Does someone spring to mind? It does not have to be a huge project. Often, small everyday changes can make a big difference. You can nominate yourself or someone working in an endoscopy unit at a UK hospital. Perhaps they have:

  • Reduced waste through one simple change

  • Introduced greener ways of working

  • Supported a sustainability project

  • Inspired colleagues to make positive changes

  • Developed and shared ideas others can use

What Will the Winner Receive?

  • A Sustainability Advocate trophy and certificate of recognition
  • A £100 donation to an approved UK environmental charity
  • An award presentation at their hospital or endoscopy unit
  • Recognition for them and their team across Omnimed’s media

Nominate Someone Brilliant Today

Simply tell us who they are, what they have done and why it matters. You do not need exact carbon figures or a perfectly written entry. We simply want to hear their story and understand the positive difference they are making. Nominations close on Friday 29th January 2027.

Once nominations have closed, our judging panel will review all eligible entries and select up to three finalists. If you nominate someone else, we will contact them before shortlisting to let them know about their nomination and confirm they are happy to take part.
