BSG LIVE'26 | June 2026 | Our Haemoclips Featured on the Ambu® Station

We are delighted to announce that Ambu® has chosen Omnimed's haemoclips for live demonstrations on their EndoVillage station at BSG LIVE'26.

Each year, BSG LIVE brings together the very best of British gastroenterology. It's where clinicians, nurses, researchers and industry partners come together to share knowledge, explore new technology and shape the future of patient care.

So, while the Omnimed team won't be making the trip to Liverpool this year, we're incredibly proud to know that our haemoclips will be.

Ambu® has selected them to be demonstrated on their EndoVillage station, giving delegates the opportunity to experience them first hand during practical endoscopy demonstrations.

BSG LIVE'26

Taking place from Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th June 2026 at LEX Liverpool, BSG LIVE'26 returns under the theme Transforming Care Through Precision & Personalised Medicine.

Hosted by the British Society of Gastroenterology, the annual meeting has become one of the UK's most important educational events for the gastroenterology community. Over the four days, delegates can enjoy an extensive programme featuring CPD-accredited sessions, expert-led plenary sessions, and the opportunity to discover the latest research and clinical advances in gastroenterology.

Alongside the live programme, selected sessions will also be available on demand, giving delegates access to more than 70 hours of educational content after the event.

The British Society of Gastroenterology has been the voice of British gastroenterology and hepatology since 1937 and today supports more than 4,000 members drawn from the ranks of physicians, surgeons, pathologists, scientists, nurses and AHPs.

EndoVillage is Bigger and Better for 2026

One of the highlights of BSG LIVE is undoubtedly the EndoVillage. An enhanced, enlarged EndoVillage will once again feature as an integral part of BSG LIVE'26 in Liverpool. Returning on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th June, the dedicated training area offers delegates the chance to step away from the lecture theatre and into a hands-on learning environment.

The aim is to give participants a fun and engaging introduction to a range of endoscopy techniques, while hopefully encouraging further training through full courses and formal accreditation. In addition to the bookable sessions, there will also be a number of open-access stations available throughout the EndoVillage that do not require pre-registration.

This year, Ambu® will be demonstrating their innovative single-use endoscopy solutions at their stand within the EndoVillage.

Ambu® Compatible Endoscopy Accessories

Ambu® has leveraged more than ten years of experience in single-use endoscopy to provide you with a dependable, sterile and viable solution to adopt. Ambu®'s single-use GI endoscope solutions offer the familiar benefits of conventional endoscopes combined with the efficiency and sterility of the single-use concept.

Omnimed is proud to support Ambu® with our range of Ambu® compatible endoscopy accessories.

Haemoclips Designed for Everyday Clinical Practice

We are delighted that Ambu® has chosen to demonstrate Omnimed's haemoclips during this year's event.

Haemoclips are used to prevent bleeding in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract during colonoscopy. This is usually after a polyp has been removed from the colon or to treat a bleeding ulcer. Haemoclips are used to approximate two sides of a blood vessel to securely occlude and arrest bleeding.

These haemoclips benefit from 360° rotation in multiple directions and are repositionable up to 10 times. They feature a short tail for safer, easier release and reduced obstruction in the field of vision. Available in a range of opening widths to support a wide range of clinical treatment needs and are MRI conditional.

Ergonomic, colour-coded handles with a reliable and durable design for consistent performance during procedures.
