At Omnimed, our commitment to greener healthcare goes beyond the products we supply. As part of our wider Social Value and Green Endo work, we’re looking for practical opportunities to roll up our sleeves and support the NHS Forest.
The NHS Forest, run by the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, inspires and supports healthcare sites to transform their green spaces for health, wellbeing and biodiversity. Since 2009, more than 400 healthcare sites across the UK have joined the alliance, with over 130,000 trees planted on or near healthcare estates.
And it’s about far more than trees. NHS Forest projects are helping to create greener, healthier spaces for NHS staff, patients, local communities and wildlife, from gardens and woodlands to wildlife habitats and welcoming outdoor spaces.
