Omnimed Makes Break Time a Piece of Cake at Bronglais Hospital

As the winning entry to our 18th Birthday Cake Free Prize Draw, Dr Mark Narain, Lead Clinician at Bronglais Hospital, Wales has received a delicious cake to share with his team.

The cake was personally delivered last week by Omnimed's Callum Murphy in Business Development and Commercial Manager, John Wood.

Callum, now responsible for supporting our customers across Wales, shared his thoughts following his first visit to the region:

Being able to deliver the cake was a highlight of my first trip to Wales to meet some of our customers and prospects in that region. It was a pleasure to meet Dr Narain and Junior Sister, Tracey Yandell-Thomas. I only hope they enjoyed meeting me as much as they enjoy the cake!

I was glad that we managed to deliver the cake in the end. Dr Narain said that he doesn’t win many competitions and so when we first contacted him to let him know that he had won, he didn’t respond immediately. Luckily the mention of cake persuaded them to contact us directly to confirm the win at which point the team were happy to request chocolate as the cake of choice. This turned out even better when one of the unit staff saw that we had collected the cake from Fays Cake Boutique, a local cake maker with an excellent reputation.

Congratulations Mark, and we do hope the cake gave your team a break time to remember!
