Omnimed will be in Milan, Italy for ESGE Days 2026 which runs from 14th - 16th May 2026. Omnimed’s Commercial Manager John Wood and General Manager, Robbie Blackwood will be joined by MedScience’s Sales Director, Matt Mills, connecting with industry peers and exploring the latest developments across the endoscopy landscape.
ESGE Days, hosted by the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, is billed as Europe’s premier international meeting for gastrointestinal endoscopy. Bringing together leading clinicians, researchers, and industry professionals from across the globe, the event offers a unique opportunity to stay at the forefront of clinical practice, innovation, and collaboration.
What to Expect
The 2026 programme promises a comprehensive and engaging experience, featuring sessions across three days, including a Postgraduate Course and the new Safe Sedation Course. With a strong focus on real-world application, the event includes live endoscopy demonstrations, interactive discussions, and case-based learning designed to support both routine and advanced clinical practice.
This year’s host unit, Humanitas University Medical School, will showcase live cases and share practical insights into how leading teams approach complex and everyday procedures. Offering valuable learning through direct observation and expert commentary.
Greener Days
Omnimed is closely aligned with ESGE Days’ “Striving for Greener Days” mission, which places sustainability at the core of the event through key pillars including Green Governance, Green Programme, Transport, Carbon Footprint Tracking, Event Operations, and Community and Legacy Projects. Led by the ESGE Green Endoscopy Working Group, these initiatives go beyond event planning, helping to shape wider clinical practice through education, research collaboration, and practical guidance for endoscopy units and industry partners. This reflects a clear shift across the sector towards more sustainable, responsible healthcare delivery.
Sustainability is also embedded throughout the scientific programme, where environmental considerations are integrated into live demonstrations and core sessions alongside clinical excellence. Practical actions such as promoting lower impact travel, capturing delegate data to better understand emissions, and working with partners like Forestami highlight a data-driven and accountable approach. Combined with operational measures such as reduced waste, digital-first content, and community-focused initiatives, ESGE Days sets a strong example of how large-scale medical events can evolve responsibly. This closely aligns with Omnimed’s Green Endo campaign and our Greener Together training sessions, where we focus on supporting more sustainable practices within endoscopy.
Let's Connect
For the Omnimed team, ESGE Days 2026 is an important opportunity to connect with suppliers, strengthen relationships, and explore potential new partnerships. As always, the focus is on understanding what is evolving within the sector and how these developments can support better outcomes for clinicians and patients alike.
If you are attending ESGE Days 2026, we would love to connect. It is always valuable to share insights, discuss emerging trends, and explore how we can continue to support the endoscopy community.
