EAEAG 2026 Study Day | May 2026 | Review

On Saturday 2nd May, Omnimed's Area Sales Consultant for South East England and London, Clive Waters attended the East Anglia Endoscopy Associates Group (EAEAG) study day at the Quadram Institute in the Norfolk and Norwich hospital.

This educational event drew endoscopy nurses from across the east Anglia area, who convened to study managing bleeds, postpartum gastroenterology care and developments in paediatric endoscopy.

At break times, the attendees were encouraged to visit the sponsor’s stands and take a look at the products on display, as well as speak to representatives from suppliers.

Insights from the Day

The event provided a valuable opportunity to network, allowing us to connect with others working in endoscopy and engage with several customers and prospects. These conversations helped strengthen relationships and broaden our understanding of what hospitals need in the region.

John Wood, Omnimed's Commercial Manager said:

I understand that we had by far the most visited stand on the day. I hope that was due to the quality of our products and the warmth of Clive’s smile but it’s possible it was the popularity of our notebooks and pens.

Clive Waters, Area Sales Consultant for South East England and London and whose area covers East Anglia said:

Our Blue Eye™ submucosal injection agent was frequently discussed, leading to Peterborough City Hospital talking to us about providing a training day on its most effective use. We also received requests to visit James Paget University Hospital and Ipswich Hospital to present some of our most popular products to their unit managers. This is one of a number of study days Omnimed is glad to sponsor as it is not only good for reminding existing customers of our products but also creates interest in new and junior staff members for the future.

Omnimed would like to say a very BIG thank you to everyone involved in making EAEAG happen, particularly EAEAG for organising the study day and to the Quadram Institute for hosting such an informative and inspiring event. The Omnimed team in attendance found it to be a very insightful event, providing a lot of valuable information to help us support endoscopy units across the UK.
