Outcome 4
Sustainable procurement practices: reducing carbon footprints, minimising waste, and promoting the use of clean energy and green technologies

We work closely with suppliers to support sustainable procurement practices and reduce environmental impact across the healthcare supply chain. This includes supporting packaging reduction initiatives with suppliers such as Black Eye™ and Blue Eye™, including the introduction of plastic reducing blister packs and more recently plastic reducing outer packaging. Alongside our ISO 14001 accreditation and wider Green Endo initiatives, we continue to look for practical ways to help minimise waste and support more sustainable healthcare procurement.
