After 17 years of hard work, growth, and unwavering commitment to the NHS and UK hospitals, Omnimed has just had a record-breaking year. It’s a milestone we’re immensely proud of, not only because of what we’ve achieved, but because of how we got here: through teamwork, exceptional service and products, and a shared sense of purpose.
To mark this special moment, Managing Director Michael Morris brought the team together for a unique and unforgettable experience. A one-of-a-kind team-building cruise was organised to recognise years of dedication and to strengthen the bonds that power our success. It was a little bit of magic after a lot of hard work.
It’s so important to take time out to celebrate milestones, and this company achievement was, to me, one of them. The health and well-being of my team is paramount to continued success, and what better way to get everyone together for a team-building exercise, on a lovely ship, over the weekend, to say a big thank you. The expressions on their faces, the excitement in exploring their new surroundings for a few days and the reality of this escape from routine for a while will be a memory I will cherish. No cooking, or washing up, and a room refreshed every day with a myriad of things to do if you wish to, or simply sit back, relax and watch life go by on a shimmering sea whilst soaking up the atmosphere, whilst the world comes to you, what's not to like! Many of our team members and their families have direct experience of the healthcare environment. From Kelly, a former HCA, to Louise, a practice manager, and John, who helped build emergency wards during the pandemic. These lived experiences help us better understand and support the people we work with every day.
This experience was not just about celebrating business growth. It was a heartfelt thank you from Michael to everyone at Omnimed. It gave us the chance to reflect, recharge, and reconnect after years of continuous momentum. It also reminded us how vital our wider support networks are: the families, friends, and colleagues who help make it all possible.
