Omnimed is pleased to announce that our sustainability award-winning courier, DPD has recently won the Green Energy Award at the Better Society Awards.
Managing Director, Michael Morris said, "The Better Society Awards celebrate the efforts that commercial organisations make to create a better society. We're absolutely thrilled that they've chosen to recognise our courier for this accolade as we are very committed to ensuring Omnimed operates in the greenest way possible and working with a courier who is also committed to these goals is an important part of that."
DPD's entry focussed on their expanding electric vehicle fleet, growing use of hydrogenated vegetable oils (HVOs) as a cleaner fuel source, sustainable business incubator (EcoLaunchpad), and all of the other amazing incentives that have led to them cutting their carbon output, which of course, cuts Omnimed's carbon output too!
