As part of Omnimed’s commitment to supporting UK hospitals in their goals for Green Endoscopy and the wider goals of the Greener NHS Programme, we are pleased to announce that we have appointed Supply Chain Assistant, Hope James as our Green Endoscopy Champion. The role will see Hope helping to spearhead internal initiatives that continue moving Omnimed towards operating in a way that is aligned with Green Endoscopy goals.

I’m thrilled that Hope has stepped up to the plate and taken on this role as it will help us continue to improve our green credentials and consequently, those of our customers.”
Hope added “I’ve always appreciated the great outdoors and nature so it seemed a natural fit for me to become the Green Endoscopy Champion and encourage my colleagues to embrace new initiatives we introduce to make the business as green as possible. I’m excited to start having a positive impact on our green credentials and am pleased to say I’ve already co-ordinated having our bins switched from general waste only to ones that split general and recyclable items, ensuring our waste management system is as green as possible.”
